Foods to Try in Singapore

1
Oyster Omelet Loved by foreigners and locals alike, Oyster omelets are sold by street hawkers and night vendors in Singapore. Starch is usually mixed with eggs for a heavier texture. Most vendors who sell oyster omelets also sell carrot cake because both are cooked in very similar ways.
3
Chili Crab The most famous way of cooking crabs in Singapore is mixing with tomato-chili sauce or black-pepper sauce. The crabs go through a long cooking process where they are first boiled and then fried. Chili Crabs are usually eaten with buns and chili sauce.
2
Bak Kut Teh One of the oldest dishes, which has been around since the time Singapore was still a developing country, Bak Kut Teh is a must-try for anyone interested in Singapore’s history or culture. It used to be simple humble pork soup, but is now available in many variants.
4
Wanton Mee A noodle dish eaten dry with pork and sweet sauce, Wanton Mee was originally a Hong-Kong dish adopted by Singapore where it became wildly popular. It also served with pork dumplings and bowl of soup.
